It has a large horizontal stainless steel brooch back secured to the back and the way it's layered means the brooch sits more snuggly against fabric when worn ( see photo of the back)

The brooch is quite a statement piece that looks quite psychedelic

I focused on the different wing stages when I designed this striking statement piece and it features 4 different wing stages over 7 separate ladybirds all in red mirror acrylic

I've chosen a chunky yet lightweight gunmetal coloured aluminium chain (for the bulk of it) which measures roughly 40cm but there is also a 10cm extender chain
