Staithes Sunny Day Landscape I share it here toStaithes from a different perspective on the English coast. I painted this one with the underlying amethyst, that sets the mood, I leave edges with a coating of jewel tones. The plaster of the homes shone ocher in the sunset and complimented the purple edges, blues of the water and even the green on the docks. Staithes, while simple, is gracefully picturesque.
