Ripe for the Picking Birds one of the first signsWatercolor on gallery wrapped canvas 20 x 20 The Prickly Pear cactus bears these beautiful fruits in the late spring early summer. These perfectly ripe specimens had a graphic quality with the sunlight hitting them just so. The rich red color in contrast with the green pad is quite the attention getter.
