The rye aroma has that distinctive cherry aroma to it as well as its grain profile that leans more herbal. There's a little wax coming through as well. As you taste, the whiskey is on the lean side, but it's tangy. The flavor profile is not very dynamic, nor does the finish last very long, but what does stick around is pleasant
