It was a nice overcast fall afternoon which allowed for some even light on the location as I prepared to take the image once again for Thirty Days

When taking an image like this the direction of light is important and as it was shining in my direction I had to be careful for lens flare in the camera itself

The folded card is 5"x7" and the inside of the holiday card has the greeting: Happy Holidays and Best Wishes for the New Year

On the way I stopped by the Colorado State Capitol and ducked in an area to get out of the wind for a little bit

Sunrise in Juneau Size:18"x24" It was a nice overcastI was looking out the window at the clouds moving just prior to sunrise. I grabbed my camera and quickly headed down to the Gastineau Channel just as the sun was rising for the last day of November. With some clouds around the sky started to light up over some mountains with fresh snow on them from the rain earlier in the week. The colorful skies lasted for a little while before the overcast skies moved back in for the remainder of the day.
