Art Nouveau Celluloid Christmas Gift Box for Gloves - Holly & Berries valentines day ornament Stitched to a crinoline backingDating to the very early 1900s, from my personal collection, may I offer this Antique Christmas box specifically made for Gloves. Made of light cardboard, the box is covered in holly and berries wrapping paper; the top lid is made of celluloid and is handpainted with (again) holly and berries as well as the word GLOVES written to the center. I can spot only one small crack in the celluloid at a corner seam; maybe there's something else I am missing
